How Can Tenants Make Payment Online?
Tenants can make a payment from anywhere. Tenants do not need to login! Everything you need to pay is handled through your bank directly. Payments are done either through online banking or directly through an ATM.
What do I need?
Contact your Property Manager for your tenantpay number. Tenantpay numbers start with RNT with 11 numbers eg. (RNT10000345678). Log onto your OWN bank web site and add “Tenantpay” as a payee. Type in your tenantpay number provided by your Property Manager. Make a payment.
Your bank’s web site will provide you with a confirmation number.
Are there extra charges to the tenant?
Yes there is a cost of $1.13. This amount must be added to the amount of your rent payment when using this payment method. So if your rent is $700 monthly then the payment amount should be $701.13
Pre-Authorized Debits
Pre-authorized debits (PADs) are a convenient way to pay bills and make payments automatically. It’s a great way to pay rent. Pre-authorized debits are sometimes called direct debit, pre-authorized chequing (PAC), pre-authorized withdrawals or pre-authorized payments (PAPs).
Personal PADs are automated recurring payments from a customers' bank account for the goods or services they purchased.
The landlord and tenant complete the PAD agreement for the rental amount that will be withdrawn on the first day of each month.
Are there extra charges to the tenant? No!
Post-dated cheques
Tenants can supply us with a series of post dated cheques payable for the first of each month and we will deposit them into our bank account.

e-Transfers
Interac e-Transfer is a convenient way to send and receive money directly from one bank account to another. All you need is access to online or mobile banking through a participating financial institution, and you can send money to anyone with an email address or mobile phone number and a bank account in Canada — without sharing any personal financial information.
Are there extra charges to the tenant? It depends on your bank. The standard cost of $1.50 is charged directly to the tenant however many banks waive this charge.
Quickbooks Invoice Credit Card Payments
Enjoy the convenience of a credit card as a method of payment to pay your rent. Tenants can now choose to pay by Visa and Mastercard when they receive their rent invoice by email on the first of the month. All you have to do is click on the credit card payment option that is indicated on the invoice and follow the instructions.
Are there extra charges to the tenant? Yes there is a 2.5% charge. This amount must be calculated and added to the amount of your rent payment when using this payment method. So if your rent is $700 monthly then the payment amount should be $717.50.
The Old Fashioned Way (Mail a Cheque)
We prefer that you use our other more convenient methods of payment below but if you wish to pay your rent by cheque then mail it to the address below and make sure that your cheque arrives on the first of the month. You will need to mail it a few days before the first in order for the post office to have enough time to deliver the cheque.
